The style of ë-C4 X Electric and of C4 X draws on a design that combines the elegant silhouette of a fastback with the modern look of an SUV. C4 X and ë-C4 X Electric let you choose the engine that is best suited to your needs.

Front end with assertive Citroën signature

The high and horizontal bonnet features concave indentations and the chromed chevrons extend across the entire width of the car. They flow into dual-height front lights using Citroën LED Vision lighting technology. As well as providing maximum visibility, these reinforce the high-tech DNA of the vehicle.

Dynamic roof line

4.6 m long, the New Citroën ë-C4 X Electric and C4 X fit perfectly into the Citroën range between the C5 X (4.80 m) and the C4 hatchback (4.36 m). Their 2.67 m wheelbase is identical to the latter.

From the side, the dynamic roof line of the car flows gracefully from the top of the windscreen to the upper panel of the tailgate to give a fastback shape with a perfect stance.

Aerodynamics are optimized thanks to the fast and clean roof line of the bodywork, which results in a drag coefficient of CX 0.29.

New LED rear lights

New distinctive LED rear lights echo the front light signature. They pick up the sculpted lines of the boot opening and end in an arrow shape in front of the rear door, which further reinforces the dynamism of the body.

Advanced Comfort Seats

Wide and welcoming, the Advanced Comfort® seats contain a special 15mm reinforced foam and provide a unique combination of visual, postural and dynamic comfort.

Spacious rear seats, offering a very generous amount of room, can be heated, just like the front seats, which are also equipped with a massage function, heightening the feeling of well-being.

Spacious boot

Ë-C4 X Electric and C4 X have an extra-wide boot with 510 litres of useful volume. While the roof flows smoothly from the front to the rear, hinges located under the rear window allow a wide and high tailgate opening for easy access. In the extra space under the boot floor you can carry additional objects and properly store the charging cable(s) for ë-C4 X Electric.

Suspensions with progressive hydraulic cushions®

Essential for driving comfort, Citroën’s innovative and exclusive suspension system consists of using two hydraulic stops in association with the shock absorber and the spring, instead of mechanical cushions.

Hydraulic stops give the “magic carpet” effect which made Citroën’s reputation. It gives the impression that the car floats above uneven ground.

Safety and driving assistance features

Ë-C4 X Electric and C4 X offer a range of the latest driver assist technologies. Up to 20 advanced systems improve driver safety and reduce stress for the driver and passengers.

AUTOMATIC HIGH-/LOW-BEAM CONTROL

This function controls the activation of main and dipped beam headlamps, depending on the traffic, when vehicles are detected approaching from the front or overtaking.

This system provides optimal light for night driving.

VISION 360° This feature facilitates maneuvers by displaying on the touchscreen a 360° view from the top of the car of the surrounding area. This technology offers 3 different views and selects the most suitable for the maneuver in progress. The desired view can also be selected manually. ACTIVE LANE DEPARTURE WARNING SYSTEM This system uses a camera that recognizes broken and unbroken lines. If the vehicle moves close to the line without the indicators having been activated, it gradually steers to stay in its original lane. This technology helps fight against drowsiness. ADML PROXIMITY (HANDS-FREE IGNITION) This system lets you lock/unlock and start your car without taking the keys out. The car thus recognizes its driver as soon as he/she approaches. BLIND SPOT MONITORING SYSTEM This monitoring function is particularly useful on multi-lane roads. An orange light in the corner of the wing mirrors warns you of a vehicle in your blind spot. REAR VIEW CAMERA WITH TOP REAR VISION

As soon as reverse gear is engaged, the camera displays the view behind the vehicle on the touchscreen, accompanied by colour markers, as well as a reconstituted image of its rear environment at 180°.

When approaching an obstacle, the camera zooms in automatically.

ACTIVE SAFETY BRAKE This emergency braking system limits the risk of collision. It operates from 3.1 m/h with fixed or moving objects and with pedestrians. If a collision risk is detected, a warning is given to the driver. Without any reaction from the latter, the system automatically slows down the vehicle. EXTENDED SIGN RECOGNITION AND SPEED RECOMMENDATION

This system informs drivers of the speed limit to be respected. When the camera detects a speed sign, the driver can accept the speed recommendation and use it as the speed for the cruise control or speed limiter.

The system also detects Stop and One Way signs.
