REAL USE VEHICLE CONSUMPTION
In order to provide its customers with better information, the PSA Group makes available independent, certified calculations of real-world fuel consumption. It has partnered with the NGO Transport & Environment (1) and France Nature Environnement (2).
Together, they have defined a protocol for measuring real-world fuel consumption, which has been approved by the certification company Bureau Veritas (3).
A MEASUREMENT OF REAL USE CONSUMPTION
CALCULATE THE REAL USAGE CONSUMPTION OF YOUR VEHICLE
This protocol predicts the real-world fuel consumption of vehicles travelling along a 92.3 km route combining urban, rural and motorway driving. The vehicles tested travel on open routes in normal traffic conditions, with passengers and luggage. The use of air conditioning or heating is also mandatory. The routes selected have gradients representative of real-world usage (4).
Therefore, Citroën, a STELLANTIS Group brand, subscribes to a transparency process vis-à-vis its customers.
(1) Transport & Environment: European environmental association specialised in establishing a sustainable transport policy.
(2) France Nature Environnement: French federation of nature and environmental protection associations
(3) Bureau Veritas: Global inspection, certification and laboratory testing company
(4) This estimate is provided as a guide and for information purposes only and may vary depending on the actual usage conditions. The estimate is entirely separate from the official EU fuel consumption figures. It therefore has no general applicability. We make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the completeness, accuracy, reliability, suitability or availability of the estimate, for any purpose. The test protocol is available on the PSA Group’s website: www.groupe-psa.com.
